I originally sent this out to the Moms in my Mom at 41 Newsletter a few weeks ago but thought it would be great to share here with you today. Perhaps you need to hear this message today.
Who am I to:
- Speak up?
- Start a blog?
- Do something different?
- Dream BIG?
- Say what I want?
- Take that trip?
- Want more of ________ in my life?
- Stop tolerating the things I don’t want?
- Live my life for me?
Do you ever ask yourself that question? Do these questions ever surface? Rear its ugly head? Does it throw you off your game and take away your excitement, enthusiasm, and joie de vivre for something you want to be, do or have? Well, you may just be suffering from Imposter Syndrome.
I know, because I’ve been there several times. Still am sometimes, some days, some moments. Usually either when I am trying something new, big, or scary OR I am doing well at something new, big, or afraid. Fear of failure or fear of success? Imposter syndrome may be one of these or both.
If these thoughts, feelings, and words who am I keep coming up. Yup, It’s Imposter Syndrome. But here’s the thing: It’s a lie. Don’t believe it. It’s Fear talking a blue streak.

So what do we do with it?
This is not a quick fix answer. It may take some time. Some soul work. Discovering how you want to feel each day (Subliminal Message: Read The Desire Map). It could take a day or a year. Or the time it takes is the time it takes.
And then DECIDE that you are worthy. DECIDE that you have value. DECIDE why NOT you?
AFFIRM you have the goods. AFFIRM you know what you know to share. AFFIRM that your intention is everything, not years of experience.
And suddenly, that question, Who Am I, starts to show itself less and less.
It’s not as welcome anymore. It doesn’t quite fit anymore. I can. I will. I am. I AM that person to share that idea, create that project, be that human being who is about to take the world by storm. Or a quiet entrance. Either is good.
So who are you? Pretty darn incredible. And you are Enough. That is all. Carry on.
